Launched in December 2000 and celebrating our tenth anniversary this year, we are the leading community site and portal in the Channel islands with visitors from all over the World. Use the navigation buttons on the left to choose the Island and beneath those are many pages covering all aspects of island life. The navigation buttons at the top are more general subjects, not specific to any particular island. All the navigation buttons are interactive and change depending on where you are in the website. The site is unique in that it brings together information about all the Channel Islands for residents and tourists alike. It also actively encourages contributions from islanders. It is not just down to us to make it the best - we rely upon you to participate and provide us with the content (see the Community sections). We are always pleased to receive your articles, photography, children's drawings and poems. In fact anything that gives you the chance to express yourself. Contributors from all the islands are welcome. Businesses listed on the site gain valuable exposure to island residents and indeed people all over the World. History of the Islands The Channel Islands are steeped in history with masses of archaeological evidence dating back to Neolithic times. They were also important Roman trading ports with Jersey known as Caesarea, Guernsey as Sarnia. See our History pages for full details.
